Biography
Rebecca Lee, DO, RDN, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health with a particular interest in preventative health, nutrition, obesity management and osteopathic manipulative therapy. Prior to medical school, Dr. Lee worked for nine years as a registered dietitian, with experience in weight management for children and adults. As an osteopathic physician, she incorporates osteopathic manipulative therapy into her wholistic approach to patient care. Dr. Lee provides comprehensive care for a wide range of medical needs, including longitudinal care for families, rural health, treating children as young as two years of age, prenatal counseling, womens health, diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease and geriatric health. After earning her medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Dr. Lee completed her family medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center, Our Lady of Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, Louisiana. She actively participates in the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians to stay updated on medical advancements. Dr. Lee is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys playing piano, painting, gardening, cooking, exercising, and spending time with her family and pets.
