Ryan Rhodes, MD

Dr. Rhodes received his undergraduate degree from LSU in Baton Rouge and his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine New Orleans. Following his he completed his internship and residency at the LSUHSC Family Medicine program in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He completed his Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Arkansas program in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Dr. Rhodes is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a CAQ in Sports Medicine. He has been practicing medicine since 2016. Dr. Rhodes' expertise is in sports and musculoskeletal injuries, exercise prescriptions, athletic performance, hormone optimization, concussions, musculoskeletal ultrasound and regenerative medicine. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, weight lifting, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, exercise, watching LSU and the Saints either in person or on TV, reading history or comics, hunting, fishing and cooking.

This was my first visit with Dr Rhodes. I found him to be very pleasant, knowledgeable, and he answered all my questions. Nothing was broken (only a sprain/strain thank goodness), so I don't know when I will have an opportunity to see him again.

Great experience, friendly staff, wait time only 2 minutes. X-rays we’re taken in the office. Dr. Rhodes did not rush, took the time to evaluate and discuss my issue. Would highly recommend.

Professional approach, direct to charts..waste no time assessing to begin remedy( common cold). In my opinion Dr Ryan met my expectations not only did he prescribe what I needed however also what was suggested if it was OK to get me back too taking care of my Mother whom had a stroke in March now I'm caring after her...within 24 hrs the meds kicked in...within 48 hrs I was back to work and hands on with my Mother. Thank you Sir. ( still finishing the meds)

Dr. Rhodes has a great bedside manner who listens to his patients. Even though he is no longer going to be a PCP anymore my husband and I are happy to have met him.
