From Ochsner with Love
Louisiana isn’t short on heart and soul but, sadly, has some of the highest rates of heart disease in the country. As the leading cause of death for both men and women, cardiovascular issues impact nearly every family. Through awareness, education, and the work of our outstanding caregivers, we are saving and changing lives one heartbeat at a time. The John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute approaches cardiology using a multidisciplinary approach to offer each patient a personalized treatment program that suits their needs best.
The “From Ochsner with Love” campaign was designed to highlight the outstanding care provided by the Ochsner Cardiology team while raising funds and awareness for heart health. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier tomorrow. To learn more about From Ochsner with Love, please click here.
From Ochsner with Love: A Red Tie Affair
This inaugural event will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans. Funds raised for this year's event will benefit cardiology patient assistance funds at Ochsner. To learn more about the event, please click here.
The Benefactor Dinner
The Benefactor Dinner celebrates the loyal and generous members of the Benefactor and Heritage societies each year through a special dinner and presentation. All donors at the Councilor level of giving ($5,000+) are invited to join us as we induct the newest members of the Benefactor and Heritage Societies. The Benefactor Society recognizes donors who have given $25,000 or more and the Heritage Society recognizes all donors who have included Ochsner Health System in their estate plans.
Crescent City Levee Run
Ochsner is thrilled to continue its partnership with the Allstate Sugar Bowl crescent City Levee Run. All race proceeds benefit Ochsner Hospital for Children. Check back here for information about the 2018 event.
Eat Fit NOLA Dine Out
Ochsner Health System has collaborated with local restaurants in the New Orleans area to create Eat Fit NOLA. Eat Fit NOLA is a partnership that strives to make eating out with nutrition in mind easier by highlighting the better-for-you items right on the menu. On Dine Out nights, participating restaurants donate a percentage of their sales for the day to donate to Ochsner's Eat Fit | Live Fit Fund. To learn more, or to see a list of participating restaurants, please click here.
The Ochsner Ironman 70.3 was held on October 22, 2017 at the South Shore Harbor. In past years, participants have raised funds for the Patient Assistance Fund through the Superhero Slot. See below for pictures and stay tuned for more information about next year's event!
Ochsner Goes Pink

Moonlight & Miracles Gala
The 5th Annual Moonlight & Miracles Gala was held on November 10, 2017, on the turf of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The event benefits programs at the Ochsner Cancer Institute, which provides multidisciplinary care for adults and pediatric cancer patients. We raised $400,000 in 2013, more than $1,000,000 in 2014 and 2015, and $1,500,000 in 2016 to support cancer research, patient care and survivorship events. Tree of Life
Over the past few years, Ochsner's Tree of Life has grown into an annual symbol of hope and benevolence for families. We invite you to share in this year's celebration by purchasing a Tree of Life ornament or by making a donation. All gifts through Tree of Life will support Ochsner's patient assistance programs.
