Best gym in Nola! New equipment, friendly staff, a cafe and outdoor bar. I can’t even count how many different pools there are. Summer concerts are super fun. Saunas and cold plunge have become a daily must.

I've been training with Joseph McCoy since 2019, and in that time, he's helped me become stronger and more physically fit than I’ve ever been. His guidance, consistency, and ability to challenge me while keeping workouts engaging have made a huge difference in my health and confidence. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to reach their fitness goals with a trainer who truly knows what they’re doing.

Great gym. Has everything you want in a gym. Every fitness activity, great classes, multiple pools. Including three lap pools! Staff is great and it’s very clean. They need to add family changing rooms for adults with children.

I love the satellite Gyms at Heritage in Downtown. Good atmosphere and very nice people working there. And very well maintained.

Considering I was paying almost $70 a month for a tiny 24hrs gym, only paying around $80 a month for this gym is nothing! It has almost anything you could think to need! Always clean and great quality equipment!

We’ve been working out at the gym for 2 years- it’s always clean, up to date and has a wide selection of equipment/ class options and amenities. We particularly love our personal training sessions with Joseph McCoy, who always pushes us and makes working out actually fun!

My wife and I rejoined Ochsner Fitness Center after being out for several years. We were amazed at the upgrades and the addition of pickle ball to the programs being offered. The staff is as courteous and friendly as ever. We are meeting and making new friends everytime we play pickleball. Kudos to Gabby for her wonderful organizational skills in running the pickleball program and to Tim for his excellent methods in teaching beginners how to play the game.

I've been a member for years and I'm at the gym 5 to 6 days a week. I regularly use the pool, sauna, cold plunge, weights and cardio equipment. Recently I've learned to play Pickleball and joined a league - it was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to improving my game. One thing I would like to see added either to their website or Facebook page is the status of certain areas (for example if the pool is closed or the sauna is closed). Sometimes I come to the gym specifically to swim and find out once I get there the pool is closed, it would save a wasted trip to have access to any closures/cancellations before making the drive. UNO's rec center does this and they are a tiny gym on a tiny budget. Overall, a fantastic facility with something for everyone.

If you’re into pickleball, Ochsner Fitness Center in Elmwood is a hidden gem! The courts are top-notch—well-maintained with great lighting and plenty of space to move. The community here is super welcoming, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player. The staff keeps everything running smoothly and the atmosphere is always positive and energetic. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

I play pickleball there a few days a week. Courts are really nice. Gym is great. Cold plunge and hot tub and sauna and steam room. It’s criminally cheap for how big the place is and all the amenities. Wish I’d joined years ago 😍
