Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) with Brainlab
SRS and SBRT functions much like surgery but does not involve incisions or anesthesia and offers pinpoint accuracy for tumor destruction. The treatment techniques are good options for certain types of cancers, cancer that are difficult to treat using other modalities and for people with tumors in previously irradiated sites. These treatments can be delivered in only one to five visits.
