Our team of physical, occupational and speech therapists can help you achieve long-term results for many conditions that limit your ability to move and communicate. The Ochsner St. Martin Hospital Specialty Center also offers an Outpatient Infusion Clinic and Coumadin Clinic.

Our outpatient rehabilitation therapy program is a collaboration between Ochsner St. Martin Hospital and MTS Therapy Services. Our team of experts see both children and adults and specialize in treating patients recovering from surgery, orthopedic injuries and neurological conditions.

Therapy services are offered Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Physical Therapy

The Ochsner St. Martin Specialty Center offers physical therapy for patients recovering from:

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy concentrates on improving both verbal and receptive communication. Our speech therapists specialize in treating patients with:

  • Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)

The infusion clinic offers the following:

  • Antibiotic therapy
  • Blood and blood products transfusions
  • Administrations of medications (such as Remicade, Solumedrol, IVIG Gamma Globulin, Tysabri, Rituxan, Entyvio, Orencia, Reclast, Krystexxa, Primacor, Iron Products, Rutuxan, Ocrevus, IVP medications and more).
  • Any injections administered, (such as Neupogen, Procrit protocols, Aranesp protocols, Lovenox, Prolia, Xgeva, Nplate, TB skin Test, Hepatitis B Series, Influenza, Vitamin B12 and more)
  • Hydration therapy
  • Maintenance of central lines (such as PICC lines and vascular access ports)
