Suquet Family Therapy & Wellness is an innovative rehab space with board-certified physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists who specialize in the treatment of neurologic disorders. The space is equipped with the newest rehab technologies, including body weight support, functional electrical stimulation, and biofeedback tools intended to give patients every advantage to develop meaningful functional change and re-establish independence in their daily life.

Parker Family BioDesign Lab is an innovation studio where clinicians, engineers, designers, entrepreneurs and industry partners collaborate to rapidly translate ideas into real-world neurological solutions. McCausland Family Headache Center

Dathel & Tommy Coleman Brain Health Center

The Coleman Brain Health Center brings Ochsner's neurocognitive and neuropsychology teams together in one coordinated setting, so patients and families facing changes in memory, thinking or behavior can find answers, treatment and support in a single place. As one of the largest neurocognitive programs in the Gulf South, our team cares for people at every stage, from early changes to advanced dementia. We diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including Alzheimer's disease, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal degeneration syndromes, vascular cognitive impairment, traumatic encephalopathy syndrome, and other causes of cognitive change.

Helis Foundation Healing Garden

The Ochsner Neuroscience Institute's healing art garden gives patients with neurological disorders and their families a peaceful courtyard retreat where nature and art come together to support recovery. Ochsner's Health Parkinson's Disease Clinic is a designated Comprehensive Care Center by the Parkinson's Foundation, meeting the foundation's standards for care, professional training, and community education and outreach. Ochsner’s team includes specialty-trained neurologists, nurse practitioners and a Deep Brain Stimulation Program coordinator, working alongside neurosurgery, neuropsychology and physical, occupational and speech therapy specialists to deliver coordinated, whole-person care. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Center of Excellence

Ochsner's ALS Center holds the Certified Treatment Center of Excellence designation from the ALS Association's Certified Center Program, reflecting care that meets the association's national standards for excellence. Working in collaboration with the Louisiana-Mississippi Chapter of ALSA, Ochsner’s multidisciplinary team coordinates personalized care plans that bring together the patients' needs, all in one place.

Huntington's Center of Excellence

Ochsner's Huntington's Disease Center holds the distinction of being Louisiana's only Huntington's Disease Society of America Center of Excellence, part of a national network of 60 centers dedicated to advancing care for this rare genetic condition. Huntington's disease affects about 30,000 Americans and often brings symptoms such as involuntary movements, balance and coordination challenges and changes in mood, memory and thinking, typically beginning between ages 30 and 50.  

While no cure exists, our multidisciplinary team of skilled specialists creates personalized, compassionate care plans built around each patient's overall function and quality of life.
