Medical Lab Technician, Medical Technologist
Performs laboratory tests and calculations to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Activities:
- Performs specimen testing
- Adheres to regulatory compliance guidelines
- Performs, develops and interprets laboratory testing
- Ensures quality control and instrument maintenance
- Evaluates performance improvement
What You'll Need
Education: High school diploma plus degree from an accredited program; Current license as Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Technician in the state of practice; Meets CLIA and CAP requirements relative to scope of duties. ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician
Knowledge: English language, Microsoft Office
Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication skills, computer skills, multi-tasking skills
Abilities: Work Independently and collaboratively as a team member, collaborates with care team, maintains patient confidentiality
