Communicates with patients and families, develops nursing care plans and supports physicians in disease management and patient care.
Activities:
- Monitors patients during treatments and procedures
- Records patient medical histories
- Administers medications
- Follows confidentiality policies (HIPAA)
- Communicates effectively with care team
- Instructs patients and families
- Assist providers during surgery
What You'll Need
Education: LPN: Current LPN license in the state of practice RN: Associate’s degree; current RN license in the state of practice | Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association
Knowledge: English language, HIPAA standards
Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication skills, organizational skills, judgement skills, interpersonal & listening skills, manage diversified customer population, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, computer skills
Abilities: Work Independently and collaboratively as a team member, adaptable, follow strict policy guidelines, time management, delegate tasks
