Sr. Operating Room Assistant
Transports patients, supports physicians and prepares operating spaces for surgical procedures.
Activities:
- Performs direct and indirect patient care duties
- Maintains a clean, safe environment for surgical areas
- Adapts to rapid changes in surgical procedures
- Prepares and transports patients for surgery
- Passes instruments to physicians during procedures
- Assists with overall patient care
What You'll Need
Education: High school diploma plus Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association
Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication skills, multi-tasking skills
Abilities: Work Independently and collaboratively as a team member, collaborates with care team, maintains patient confidentiality, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to calmly function under pressure
