Dr. Abhishek Garg is an interventional cardiologist at Ochsner Health in Slidell, Louisiana. He received his medical degree from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Mumbai, India, in 2011 and went on to complete his internship, residency, cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Garg is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 2021 and practicing medicine since 2011. He enjoys hiking, camping, paddle boarding and watching and playing soccer in his free time.

Dr. Garg is a very thorough physician. Walked over next-door and scheduled me for a loop monitor. Insert surgery within two weeks. Various for us everything Within Ochsner‘s cardiology unit. Highly recommend all of them!

Dr Garg is very knowledgeable and it is obvious that he cares about his patients physical and mental health. He explains what is happening and the treatment that is required in terms that we can understand. He also has the finest nurse to help him in his office. She is good at making you feel comfortable with your decision for choosing him for your specialist. She makes you feel like a friend even though you had never meant her before. Thankful that Dr Raina chose him to help me.

Very good experience as a first time visit. Took time to review and question my past heart issues. Made an adjustment to my Perscription and set up a series of test to establish a current baseline profile.

Dr. Gary, first of all was friendly which made you feel very comfortable. He listened to your concerns very attentively inorder to address each appropriately. He reviewed prior issues to determine progress, needed changes, etc. He answered the whys and the why nots. When I left his office I was confident in what I needed to do or not do concerning my health.
