Biography

Dr. Abhishek Garg is an interventional cardiologist at Ochsner Health in Slidell, Louisiana. He received his medical degree from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Mumbai, India, in 2011 and went on to complete his internship, residency, cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Garg is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 2021 and practicing medicine since 2011. He enjoys hiking, camping, paddle boarding and watching and playing soccer in his free time.
