Alan Wilson, MD, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Wilson has expertise in offering comprehensive care for various medical needs. Dr. Wilson earned his medical doctorate from American University of the Caribbean St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles, in 2005. He is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Wilson actively participates in the American Academy of Family Physicians to stay updated on medical advancements.



Dr. Wilson is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of his patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. He has been practicing at Ochsner since 2024. Outside of medicine, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with his family, including his beloved dog, gardening and walking around town.
