Dr. Alexander Mulamula earned his medical degree from the University of Nairobi School of Medicine followed by a Masters of Medicine in Surgery. He completed an internal medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. where he served as chief resident. Dr. Mulamula's fellowship training was performed at Norwalk Hospital and the Yale University School of Medicine. He has ABIM board certification in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, and critical care. He is board-certified for sleep medicine and medical director of sleep disorder center. Dr. Mulamula has active memberships for the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians and American Society of Sleep Medicine.
