Alexis Rabalais is a licensed clinical social worker, who earned her master's of social work from Louisiana State University. During the master's program, Alexis focused on her research on survivors of suicide and the grief process. Her research was published in 2016. Alexis has significant experience with individual and group therapy. Prior to being with Ochsner, she has worked with inpatient hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs in Chicago, and many clinic and community centers in southern Louisiana. Alexis currently provides comprehensive mental health treatment to adults, couples, and families. Alexis specializes in providing psychotherapy, in the form of CBT, exposure and response prevention, crisis intervention, interpersonal processing therapy, and solution-focused therapy to adults and families struggling with depression, anxiety (including obsessive compulsive disorder and phobias), mood management, loss, and interpersonal relationships.
