Amanda Ruiz, PA-C, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. Amanda received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Following this, she received her Master of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University - Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is board certified by NCCPA and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. She has been on staff at Ochsner since June 2020. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and traveling. She loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as her dog, Daisy.
