Biography
Amy Truitt, MD, specializes in gynecology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Truitt earned her undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe and earned her medical degree in 1997 from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. In 2001 she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Medical Center. Dr. Truitt is an active member of the Ochsner medical staff, serving as both Chair of Women's and Children's Services and Medical Staff Secretary-Treasurer. She also participates in the Medical Executive Committee, Medical Staff Nominating Committee, and the Medical and Physician Excellence Committee. Dr. Truitt is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and practices at Ochsner Medical Center - Kenner.
