Dr. Anna White earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1999. She then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama in 2003. She then went into private practice in Alabama for a year before relocating with her family to Texas. There she was an associate professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for four years prior to joining the staff at Ochsner in 2008. Dr. White is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the America College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is currently an Assistant Professor with the UQ-Ochsner Clinical School and has been the Ochsner OB/GYN Residency Program Director since 2020. She is actively involved National Council on Residency Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) and is a member of the Education Committee. Dr. White provides care to all low/moderate risk obstetrics patients as well as the full spectrum of gynecologic care. Dr. White enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends in her free time.
