Anshul Acharya, MD

Dr. Acharya saw me to conduct my annual check up and blood work. Minimal wait before seeing him. He checked me out and discussed how he would like to proceed with the results of my blood work. He took the time I needed to ask any questions I had. He immediately set up the lab to do the blood work. I waited a few minutes till I was called to the lab. I was done in the lab in 5 minutes. Good visit!

Dr.Acharya is very attentive to detail and combined with his warm manner makes him a very good doctor. He addressed all of my concerns and helped me considerably

Dr. Acharya takes time to listen to everything you have to say. He's very patient, empathic, and compassionate, offering sound advice. He doesn't order unnecessary tests, and is very knowledgeable about treatment options also!!

Dr Acharya is a great doctor. He is very compassionate and thorough. He takes his time with you and really listens to your concerns.

I was referred to Dr. Acharya by one of his other patients and he did not disappoint! He’s great. Very personable and kind. Knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Acharya is always prepared for my appointment. He is aware of any other Dr appointments I've had since my last visit. He always checks all prescribed medications to make sure one doesn't conflict with another.

Dr. Acharya asked me about what was bothering me, examined me and prescribed medication and put in an appointment to do physical therapy to see if my shoulder pain is lessened.

The office was very clean and well kept. It smelled pleasant and had a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff was very kind and considerate to the patients' needs and feelings. Dr. Acharya was very prompt yet thorough in his assessment and diagnosis. I did not wait long between the nurse observation and him entering the room. He showed compassion and concern for my well-being.

I appreciate the care that he puts in to my medical issues.

He was very professional and took his time to make sure he was listening to what I was saying and then explaining the changes he was suggesting that was different than what my previous provider had used. I have now met with my new Primary Care Physician Dr. Anshul Acharya- MD 2 times and he has been excellent in understanding and helping me with my health care. He is a good listener and calmly and patiently explains my lab results. He always maps out what I should do to improve my health.

The many years I have been a patient of Ochsner Dr Anshul has by far been the best doctor I have ever had with Ochsner. He has got my blood pressure under control which I thought would never happen.and has taken excellent care of all my illness. Thank you for being there for me!!!
