Dr. Ashley Staton specializes in hematology oncology at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center. She finished her hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Emory University in June 2017, during which she served as chief fellow. Under the mentorship of Dr. Christopher Flowers, Dr. Staton participated in numerous projects that focused on health outcomes, lymphoma genotyping and T-cell enhancement. Dr. Staton is a Lymphoma Clinical Research Mentoring Program fellow.Dr. Staton's career philosophy has always been to treat others as she would want someone to treat her grandmother. She understands that her patients' visits involve navigating monumental "forks in the road" that deserve her full attention, and she is dedicated to providing the care they seek.
