I traveled from another state to see Dr. Staton at Oschner. I had just received my diagnosis a week before my appointment and I was absolutely terrified! She walked in the room and I instantly liked her. It was like talking to an old friend. The kind that’s going to tell you the truth, but explain everything. She was in no hurry to rush out of the room. She answered every question, sometimes more than once, and never acted like it bothered her. I highly recommend Dr. Staton.

Dr Staton is amazing… She becomes part of your family, as she walks the journey with you… Her assessments are on point and her bed side manner is unbelievably supportive… Oschner’s is lucky to have her, and she confirms that Oschner’s is the go to place, when you or your family is challenged with Cancer..Dr Staton removed our fear, and transcended it to understanding the disease… Our son was diagnosed with a rare cancer about 5 years ago…Our family was devastated. God sent us Dr. Staton, who walked the journey with us, teaching us about the disease, and how she was going to manage his treatment. Using information from around the Globe, Dr. Staton, and her team, worked tirelessly to diagnose, manage and treat, our son… He is cancer free today… Thank you Oschner’s Cancer Center, Dr Staton, and last but not least, God the almighty, for saving our son….
