Dr. Barton received his medical degree from The University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina.
Following this he completed his residency in Otolaryngology at Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr. Barton is double fellowship trained, having completed an Advanced Oncologic Head and Neck Surgery Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as an Advanced Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Barton's expertise is in the management of benign and malignant tumors involving the sinuses and skull base, pituitary tumors, encephaloceles, and cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring New Orleans with his wife Madison and son Michael.
