Dr. Jones graduated from Louisiana State University and earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed his medical residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Jones completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA and in interventional cardiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ.

He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is also board certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology in nuclear cardiology.

Dr Jones is a True Doctor!! He knows how hard my husband and I try to stay healthy!! He ALWAYS listens to our concerns and takes action immediately to prevent heart attacks and strokes. We wish we could adopt him into our family and I guess in a way we have! He's kept my husband and I this side of the dirt' . May he never retire!!!!!!
