Biography

Dr. Carlos Hartmann is an infectious disease physician in Covington, Louisiana. Dr. Hartmann received his medical degree from Universidad Nacional Experimental Francisco de Miranda, Venezuela and completed his Internal Medicine in Maricopa Integrated Health System, Phoenix AZ. (currently Creighton University School of Medicine Phoenix Program) He completed his fellowship in infectious diseases at Mayo Clinic. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He has been on staff at Ochsner since March 2020.Dr. Hartmann has also been a member of the American Academy of HIV Medicine since 2017.
