Cassandra A. Wright, DNP, is an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner at Ochsner Novant Health 65 Plus - Okatie in South Carolina. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Maryville University in St. Louis, her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Capella University and her Associate Degree in Nursing from Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. 

With a strong foundation in acute care and community-based healthcare, Cassandra has more than a decade of experience caring for adult and senior populations. Before joining Ochsner Novant Health 65 Plus, she served as a registered nurse and nurse manager. 

Board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Cassandra takes a patient-centered approach to preventive care, chronic disease management and improving her patients’ overall quality of life. 

“I am passionate about working as a team with patients to improve and maintain their quality of life through whole-person-centered preventive care and health maintenance,” she says. Outside of her clinical practice, Cassandra enjoys spending time with her family, supporting her community, kayaking and reading.
