Christopher Cimo, DPT, is a physical therapist at Ochsner Health. Chris is board-certified in orthopedics and is an NSCA-certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with extensive experience in the management of sports injuries at all levels. Chris completed his Orthopedic training and education with both Louisiana State University and the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, and Residency training through Harris Health System in Houston, TX. Chris's unique training has led to subspecialized expertise in both youth sports medicine and hip preservation, serving as a member of Ochsner's Hip Preservation Team. Additionally, Chris has piloted ongoing Physical Therapy research in the cancer population, currently researching Strength and Conditioning and its effect on patients undergoing treatment for Prostate Cancer. Chris regularly participates in Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Professional Development, serving as an active member in both the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Chris enjoys spending time outside of work with his loving wife and two rambunctious boys.
