Have recommended Dr Alsfeld to people with same health issues as I have
I had an excellent visit. He answered all of my questions and discussed future treatment and care.
Dr Alsfeld is very empathetic, he takes all the time you need and explains everything clearly. It's like talking to an old friend.
Dr Alsfeld is the most caring physician I have ever known. He cares about the quality of my life post treatment as well as maintaining remission.
As always my Oncologist is great at answering my questions and listens to my concerns. His explanations are clear and I believe God Almighty put me with the right doctor and his staff in the right place at Ochsner.
Good experience.
All good.
This was my first appointment with Dr. ALSFED, he was polite, on time, and answered all my questions.
Dr. Alsfeld is easy to talk to and to listen to what he clearly tells me. I trust his judgment and expert advice.
Dr Alsfeld is very compassionate and is great at explaining very difficult medical terms.
Dr Alsfeld is always awesome, genuine, and empathetic to my concerns.
Good
I felt very comfortable with the doctor easy to talk to
All good
Dr. Alsfeld is friendly, knowledgeable, well-versed in the latest research & clinical practice guidelines, avidly listens to my questions and concerns, and respects my background as an advanced practice provider. I am grateful he is my oncologist.
Dr. Alsfeld was willing to spend as much time as needed to answer our questions and reduce our concerns.
Dr. Alsfeld is an unbelievably good communicator. We are older and he has been so informative and patient with us.
Very kind and compassionate physician. Had prepared before our meeting and reviewed all of the tests that had been ordered.
Very good
Good conversation in a short period answering my questions and letting me know where I am in my battle with Leukemias MDS.
Dr. Alsfeld always makes me feel like he is looking at me as a person, not just a number or a statistic for research purposes. Unlike prior treatment by a "team", where I felt like I was being talked about and being asked a lot of questions, but no one was talking to me or giving me feedback. During the last hospital stay, I asked to speak with a Dr. And nurses would just say that they were following the doctors' orders. I had no idea that They talked to a family member and I was left out. I was given shots by a male nurse at night and he refused to tell me who he was and what it was for. Dr. Alsfeld was the one doctor on the team that I remember, who actually smiled and spoke with me. He was the only one who made me feel like he was treating me and not just treating the disease.
Dr Alsfeld is awesome. He listens to my questions, addresses my concerns ,explains all aspects of my situation clearly and with compassion. I feel completely at ease during and after every visit.
Dr. Alsfeld is incredibly knowledgeable and treats me like family.
