Dana Craft, MMS, PA-C, practices orthopedic trauma medicine at Ochsner Health in Lafayette, Louisiana. Dana has clinical expertise in trauma critical care, acute care surgery, intensive care and traumatic burn injury management, providing comprehensive care to patients with traumatic injuries, burn injuries and complex acute medical and surgical conditions.

Dana earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2020. She is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.

Before joining Ochsner Health, Dana practiced in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama in the Trauma/Burn ICU. There, she gained extensive experience caring for critically ill and injured patients, with a particular focus on trauma critical care and intensive care.

Dana is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while addressing each patient's individual needs and concerns. She believes in keeping patients and their families informed and supported throughout their care and strives to provide thoughtful, comprehensive treatment during some of their most challenging moments.

Dana joined Ochsner Health in 2026. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family, staying active and spending time outdoors with her three dogs.
