David Heath Trahan, MD, JD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Ochsner Health. Dr. Trahan has experience treating all facets of primary care and urgent care. He has special interests in diabetes and cholesterol. He is a native of Rayne, Louisiana, and believes that medical care should be patient-centered, with an emphasis on emboldening patients to take control of their health management rather than allowing all decisions to be made solely by practitioners.
