Dr. Donnesha Clayton is a gastroenterologist practicing at Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University. She then earned her medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans. After obtaining her medical degree, Dr. Clayton completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She then went on to complete her gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Clayton has been involved in several leadership positions throughout her academic career, and she hopes to continue to expand her leadership roles at Ochsner Medical Center. Dr. Clayton is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with family.
