Dr. Elizabeth Olson specializes in pediatrics at Ochsner Health. She received her medical degree from Tulane University. She also received a masters in public health with a focus on maternal and child health. Following this, she completed an internship in Family Practice at Ochsner. Subsequently, she transitioned to Pediatrics and completed a Pediatrics Residency at Tulane where she trained at Tulane Hospital for Children, University/Charity Hospital and Ochsner Hospital for Children.

Dr. Olson is board-certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She spent 15 years working as a pediatrician for Dartmouth Medical Center in New Hampshire and returned to New Orleans in April 2021 to work for the Ochsner Community Health Clinics. Dr. Olson's expertise is in General Pediatrics. In addition, she has extensive experience caring for NICU graduates, children with asthma and children with Down syndrome. She is a mother to four boys and, in her spare time, enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors.
