Biography

Dr. Emily L. Burke is an otolaryngologist at Ochsner Medical Center- Kenner. Dr. Burke received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2000, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Honors College. She went on to receive her medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center- New Orleans in 2004. Dr. Burke completed an internship in general surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center- New Orleans in 2004-2005. Soon after, she went on complete her residency in otorhinolaryngology in 2009 from LSU Health Sciences Center- New Orleans. She was awarded the winner of the LSU Department of Otolaryngology Resident Research Day in 2007.
Dr. Emily Burke is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, and LSBME accredited physician. Dr. Burke joined the Ochsner team in 2021 and practices in Kenner. Dr. Burke enjoys all aspects of ENT and treats patients of all ages. She loves running, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three beautiful daughters.
