Francesca Roy specializes in infectious diseases at Ochsner Health. Ms. Roy is a native of Mandeville, Louisiana and completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She is board certified by the NCCPA and is an active member of the LAPA and AAPA professional organizations. Ms. Roy joined Ochsner Health in 2018, first working as a PA in various Urgent Care centers prior to transferring to the Infectious Diseases Department. Ms. Roy's special medical interests are evaluating and treating adult patients with various infectious diseases. She enjoys helping her patients fully understand the role they play in managing their own medical issues, and encourages them to actively participate in their healthcare decisions.
