Gina Buttner, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner practicing primary care medicine at Ochsner Health. She offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive health, patient education, and chronic disease management. Known for her compassionate and personalized approach, Mrs. Buttner is committed to understanding each patient’s unique concerns and health goals.

Mrs. Buttner earned her Master of Science in nursing with a specialization as a family nurse practitioner from Loyola University New Orleans in 2021. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Lafayette and an associate degree in nursing from the Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She has been a dedicated member of the Ochsner team since 2009, initially serving as a registered nurse before transitioning to her current role as a nurse practitioner in 2022. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her pets and family.
