Grant Pollock, MD, specializes in urology at Ochsner Health in Kenner and Metairie, Louisiana. Dr. Grant Pollock is an expert and recognized thought leader in the diagnosis and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dr. Pollock’s clinical practice focuses on the medical and surgical management of benign prostate and bladder outlet obstruction in men. He specializes in HoLEP and performs more than 100 HoLEP procedures annually. In addition to BPH management, Dr. Pollock has special expertise in the treatment of kidney stones, and has been extensively trained in minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques.

Dr. Pollock obtained his undergraduate degreein biological sciences from Louisiana State University before completing medical school at LSUHSC in New Orleans. Dr. Pollock completed his urology residency at the University of Arizona, where he received extensive training in holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) for the treatment of BPH. A frequent invited speaker at urologic meetings, he regularly shares his expertise in HoLEP and advanced BPH treatment techniques. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at sectional, national, and international conferences.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Pollock is a devoted fan of LSU Athletics, the New Orleans Pelicans and the New Orleans Saints. He enjoys traveling, watching football and spending time at home with his wife and two dogs.
