Haleigh Held, WHNP-BC, practices obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Health in Slidell, Louisiana. Haleigh provides comprehensive women's healthcare, including preventive gynecologic care, well-woman exams, contraception counseling, prenatal care, family planning, adolescent gynecology and evaluation of abnormal Pap smear results. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's individual needs and goals.

Haleigh earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Women's Health from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, in 2023. She is certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Haleigh worked as a Mother-Baby registered nurse for eight years, where she developed a strong foundation in caring for women and newborns during the postpartum period.

Following graduation, Haleigh practiced as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Ochsner Baptist in New Orleans for two years before recently transitioning to Ochsner Specialty Health Center in Slidell. Her experience caring for women across diverse settings has strengthened her commitment to providing personalized, patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with her patients.

Haleigh is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected and empowered in their healthcare decisions. Her clinical interests include preventive women's health, contraception, pregnancy care, postpartum care, adolescent gynecology and family planning. She strives to ensure every patient feels comfortable, informed and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Outside of medicine, Haleigh enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the Northshore community, and supporting women's health education and advocacy.
