Haley Smith, PA-C, practices cardiology at Ochsner Health. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in biology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Prior to joining the Ochsner team, she gained experience working with a large cardiology practice. Haley conducted comprehensive physical examinations to assess her patients' health and develop personalized treatment plans. She also managed chronic conditions by monitoring progress and adjusting care as needed, while consulting with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care. Haley is board-certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants. Haley is committed to providing compassionate care, focusing on each patients needs and goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading thrillers, and watching all things LSU sports.
