Dr. Jeannette Liu practices neurosurgery at Ochsner Health. Dr. Liu received her undergraduate degree at Brown University and medical degree at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore. Following this she completed her internship and residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas. Dr. Liu is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and has been on staff at Ochsner since January 2023. She previously served as a combat neurosurgeon with a rank of Major in the U.S. Air Force. She enjoys exercising, hiking, collecting art, eating international cuisine and spending time with her Maltese dog, Picasso.
