Dr. Jennifer Baur received her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following this, she completed her residency at Louisiana State University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was named the Intern of the Year by the Louisiana State University School of Medicine and finalist for Resident of the Year.

Dr. Baur is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has been practicing in the area for over eight years before joining Ochsner Health System. She specializes in maternity care, adolescent care, and minimally invasive surgery including robotics surgery. She will see patients in Destrehan through November 2020 after which she will move her practice to Ochsner Health Center- Clearview and Ochsner Baptist in Uptown New Orleans.

Dr. Baur is married and has four young boys. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and playing tennis. She has a passion for women's health care and demonstrates that daily in the care of her patients.
