Dr. Jones earned his Ph.D. in medical physics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. There, he worked in various positions in radiology and nuclear medicine before joining the Ochsner staff in 1985
as a diagnostic physicist.
Dr. Jones's interests include x-ray and gamma-ray dosimetry, MRI, mammography, and CT physics. He has numerous scientific papers, presentations, and exhibits to his credit.
