Dr. Julie Danna specializes in dermatology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Danna is a native New Orleanian and attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart High School. After graduation, she was the recipient of the Ochsner Future Physician Award. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from LSU Medical School in New Orleans and went on to complete her internship and dermatology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Danna has expertise in general, pediatric and surgical dermatology. She has a particular interest in melanoma and offers a monthly clinic for melanoma specific patients only. She is a member of the Women's Dermatologic Society and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Danna also serves on the Board of Magnolia Community Services for adults with special needs.
