Katherine Katie Vignes, MD, MS, practices maternal fetal medicine at Ochsner Health in the Lafayette, Louisiana region. Dr. Vignes is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and she has expertise in the areas of preterm birth, maternal pregnancy complications, fetal health and assessment and prenatal genetics.

Dr. Vignes earned her degrees from Louisiana State University and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Vignes completed additional sub-specialty training in maternal fetal medicine and a masters degree in clinical translational Research also at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Vignes actively participates in The Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine and The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology to stay updated on medical advancements.

Dr. Vignes is committed to providing individualized, compassionate care to women experiencing high-risk pregnancy in Acadiana and the surrounding regions. She has been practicing with Ochsner since 2022. Outside of medicine she is a mother, and she enjoys English horseback riding, needlepointing and participating as a board member for Maddie's Footprints, a nonprofit organization.
