Kimberly Collins Jourdan, FNP, is a dedicated healthcare professional specializing in gynecology at Ochsner Health. She provides comprehensive care with a focus on wellness exams, contraception management (including implant procedures), sexually-transmitted disease screening and management, and breast exams. Kimberly is committed to understanding her patients needs holistically, emphasizing the mind, body and spirit. She strives to be clinically knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathetic in her approach to patient care. Born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana, Kimberly earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2013. She gained extensive experience in various critical care settings before pursuing further education. In 2023, she graduated with a masters in nursing, specializing as a family nurse practitioner, from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Outside of practicing medicine, Kimberly enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, traveling and cooking comfort foods.
