Biography
He earned his master’s degree in social work from Florida International University in Miami in 2003, and is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners to diagnose and provide counseling services in the state of Louisiana. Mr. Burgos actively participates in neurology symposiums to stay informed about the latest medical advancements.
Dedicated to addressing both the medical and emotional needs of his patients, Mr. Burgos takes a personalized approach that respects each individual's concerns and goals. He has been practicing at Ochsner since 2019.
Beyond his clinical work, Mr. Burgos is committed to community service. He previously volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children in Jefferson Parish and currently serves on the board of Raintree Family Services in New Orleans. He is also a board member of the Epilepsy Foundation’s Community Engagement Board.
