Jess "Logan" Rush, MD, practices dermatology and Mohs surgery at Ochsner Rush Health. Dr. Rush is board-certified in dermatology as well as board-certified and fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery and dermatologic oncology. He specializes in treatment of skin cancer and offers comprehensive dermatologic care.
Dr. Logan Rush obtained a bachelor of the arts degree from the University of Mississippi in 2012. He earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2016. He completed an internship in internal medicine, followed by a residency in dermatology, which was completed in 2020. He culminated his training in 2021, by completing a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at Saint Louis University.
Dr. Rush has performed thousands of surgical cases since beginning his career at Ochsner Rush Health in 2021. He actively participates in American Academy of Dermatology and American College of Mohs Surgery to stay updated on medical advancements. Dr. Rush is dedicated to providing the highest level of care with kindness and compassion.
