Dr. Lowell Shih is an anesthesiologist located at Ochsner Health Center in Covington. He trained in anesthesiology at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, AR and then completed a fellowship in pain management at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. He holds a double board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology in anesthesiology and pain medicine. Dr Shih had examined xrays of my problem area prior to entering exam room. He explained the probable cause of my issue and outlined possible types of treatment, depending on severity of the issue. We discussed my feelings about the possible treatments vis-a-vie my pain level, as well as my other health Issues, then mutually agreed to the best option for me at this time.
