Dr. Maria Carmen Wilson is the Medical Director of the Headache and Facial Pain Program at Ochsner Health- Covington. She received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Cadiz School of Medicine in Cadiz, Spain.
Dr. Wilson completed an internship with Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She completed a neurology-focused residency and a pain medicine-focused fellowship with the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She is board certified in neurology and headache medicine by the American Academy of Neurology and Psychiatry as well as the United Council for Neurological Subspecialties.
Dr. Wilson’s special areas of interest are primary and secondary headaches, and facial pain.
