Dr. Marilyn Ray specializes in dermatology at Ochsner Health. She earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her medical internship at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and dermatology residency at Tulane University. She also completed a dermatology fellowship with the American Cancer Society at Tulane University and a fellowship in immunodermatology with the National Institutes of Health at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Dallas.Dr. Ray holds clinical associate professorships in dermatology at the Tulane University and Louisiana State University medical schools. She is consistently listed as a top doctor in New Orleans and Louisiana Life magazines, and has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top dermatologists in America. In addition, she is a past president of the Louisiana Dermatological Society and previous chairperson of the Dermatology Section of the Southern Medical Association. She was secretary treasurer of the Zola Cooper dermatopatholgy seminar and is currently on the board. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the North American Contact Dermatitis Society.
