Mary Kate received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Southern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. She then earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. Mary Kate has over seven years of experience as a registered nurse specializing in intensive care and post-anesthesia care. She previously worked in primary care, and she now works in the headache specialty clinic. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
