Melissa Lane, PsyD, specializes in pediatric psychology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Lane received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Radnor Township School District and Rose Tree Media School District in southeastern Pennsylvania, and she obtained certification as a school psychologist in both Pennsylvania and Florida. Dr. Lane completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Child Psychology and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Lane is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She has a particular interest in assessing children with severe learning disabilities and intellectual disability. In regard to treatment, she enjoys working with adolescents who have concomitant diagnoses of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and tics.
