Michael Benoit, PA-C, has practiced occupational and urgent care medicine at Ochsner Health since 2017. He attended the Interservice Physician Assistant Program at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, where he received his masters of physician assistant studies in 2009. He is certified by the NationaI Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). As a physician assistant in the Army National Guard he was involved with aviation medicine and a graduate of the U.S. Army Flight Surgeon Course. He is a retired Army Major with 24 years of service. He is passionate about helping his patients heal from injury or illness because he believes a person's health is a top priority. In his spare time Mr. Benoit enjoys exercising, spending time with his family and playing guitar.
